It's rated at 12,000 BTU. That's roughly 3.5 kWh. I think I pay about $0.14 per kWh, so this thing is roughly $0.50 per hour to run.

It'll cool down a room in under an hour to comfortable sleeping temps. That's why I bought it. Portable units aren't really suitable for all day use.

I have it on Craigslist for $275, will drop to $250 for any STR people.
