55 is not old. at 55 iwas doing more than i did when i was 30. a 55 year old is 14 yrs younger than me, that is not old.
I ride frequently with a friend who is 56... and another who is 67. Both are exceptionally strong, but more imortantly very intelligent riders. Best yet... they have a heck of a lot of fun, and are on a very short list of riders who I invite on the tougher 4-6 hour rides. You sir, are inspiration!
There should be a young vs old relay race or something like that, put an end to the age old question. lol :?:
