Bromos and Bro-Dozers. Nice. Yeah, I don't have a problem with trucks, just dood, that's not cool the buzzing. Though, I am wondering if you've got the super skyscraper lift kit and you're a short dude, maybe you just flat out can't see anything down lower than your hood ornament.
"What are you gonna do? Bite me with your gold tooth" Haha..classic. I think I may have found a new sig. You beat me to it Burner.
I had a 'crystal hanger' in front to me on one of those cloverleaf onramps to the 57 one day that almost killed me. I just get into the cloverleaf and with no warning, I suddenly can see NOTHING other than blinding white light. I seriously thought something important snapped in my brain. I had no choice but to just keep my car turning as it was for what seemed like FOREVER until just before the cloverleaf straightened out and I regained vision and saw it blink a couple more times from the rear view mirror. If I could have caught them I don't know if I could have restrained myself. Personally, I would label those things more than a simple pet peeve. Totally agree, but wind does have it's good side.... It makes everyone equally ugly.
My peeve? People who call a public or even privately owned, but publicly accessible areas "theirs" 8)
Just Because One of the many reasons I love being a mom "because" hahaha! Mom's don't need a reason. And would you say "that's not fair"? My biggest pet peeve arrogant mountain bikers Arrogant hikers - when I am hiking I always move out of the way for mountain bikers. It's easier for me as a hiker. I don't care that I have the right of way. It's a common courtesy. I ride with Bailey mtnbikerfreds daughter on tuesdays sometimes. We had a mountain biker almost crash into her. She's learning - we are both slow. I yelled at the guy "slow rider" he didn't slow down for her - I thought he was going to crash into her. Pushing him off his bike crossed my mind (but that's not nice). So yes arrogant mountain bikers. If you see a woman riding with kids remember to be curtious - otherwise you might be suprised. Sorry guys you do have to share the trails with kids and slow riding moms.
here we go with a new one... when you are trying to exit an elevator at work, the people are so eager to get in that they just barge in as soon as the door opens before waiting to see if anyone is trying to exit!!!
When people leave a mess at the Beach. I see this all the time since I live by the beach (LBC) and cruise down atleast 3x a week. These people go to the beach and leave trash everywhere. "F%K3N pigs" I can't believe it... these people carry a heavy-ass grill, tents, chairs, kids, etc for about 100 yards....... but cant walk 5 yards to throw away their trash. What up Guero! I seen you jogging this past Monday (LB) with some chica. I was going to say whats up but I didn't want to kill game.
ahman, you shoulda said 'whats up!'. we meet up every monday and wednesday around 6:30pm and run the stairs and jog on the beach.
Home Depot and all the day labors they attract. I am sorry to say I am right across the street from a Home Depot. Everyday these people try to get in my truck when I'm just pulling into work. If you have a bleeding heart for these people it's safe to say they are not taking a shit in your bushes all day, or chasing your customers down, or gambling right out in front of your buisness. I bet right now there is at least 30 bikes locked up around my shop. And out of those 30 there is not one dang part that I would want to scavange from any of them. I could keep going but don't want to totally go off on a MEGA rant.
That drives me nuts, along with the opposite... people that HIDE on the side of the elevator and wait until I'm walking in before they start to walk out.
There is an urban myth that CD's reflect the cops laser guns making the read on the laser gun unreadable. It has been proven to be false (at least according to Myth Busters)
Nice thread revival Marsupial Glory!!! One of my pet-peeves are people I refer to as..... "Last Word Burglars" You know who they are, and what they do.
no you this is a good thread. I'm compiling a list of peeves I just developed today. I'll have it up by 2/18/2025.
Smokers that think the world is their ashtray. How many times have you seen a cigarette tossed out of a vehicle or left laying on the trails especially during high fire season.
