I moved to Fullerton, and I have been on this run of riding my CrossCheck on road and dirt. I have been avoiding the Loop, due to overcrowding!! Anyways, I have been using the lesser used dirt trails that aren't part of the Loop. I have noticed some railroad trails on Google maps that look rideable. Anyone know what the status of some of these trails are? (especially the other ends of the tracks that are part of the Loop that intersect the Juanita Cooke trail)
Here allroy, check out Grego's RR from almost a year ago. Lotsa trails to check out! http://www.socaltrailriders.org/forum/ride-reports/62933-38-mile-fullerton-loop-attempt.html
Exactly! Path along the back of the houses and follow the tracks behind the neighborhood staying to the right of the tracks.
Bumping this to let everyone know that the trail access from Martha is now fenced off, thanks to the tent city that's ruining my neighborhood. North of Malvern is ok. EDIT. Stairs were fenced today. Trail will be in the next few days.:?:
i dont know any other trails in fullerton, but i know the loop is so much fun and not crowded their is so much room everywhere it never feels crowded, if you happen to see a big group just speed up and pass them wich should be easy since they are usually just cruising. you should give it a shot.
