There is overflow nearby. I think it's $5. The map link is: http://www.riversidecountyparks.org/reservations/camping-reservations/

Rode some of the trails out there today. Rain ruts up to Keen summit are pretty rough. The ruts coming down "exfoliator" will make it very tough on those with little experience. Needless to say we did a lot of HAB today, up and down. Hope it gets better before the trip but maybe a big STR trail rehab party will be in order. See you soon. :)

A couple of us have been working on Exfoliator, so that at least, should be finished before the camp out.
    A quick update:
3/4 of exfoliator has been fixed from the top down, so be aware that suddenly the ruts appear with a vengance. The climb up to Rage in the sage is unrideable on the first section. Ruts on RitS too. Keen summit is rutted but getting better. Coyote Run still has running water on it and is rutted at the bottom.
A downed tree on Middle Southridge and one on Coffee Pot.
I'm sure it will be a fun weekend no matter what.

we were there and saw fire pits in the sites
so does this mean that we can't have fires on this side of the camp ground?

Dang. I'm in the same boat -- we have to cancel out due to bizz travel, so site 110 is certainly NOT unavailable now:

PM me if you're interested in a 40 dollar takeover.

Sorry to cancel folks -- was really looking forward to this one.

Ah well... always next year, I guess.

Overflow parking is available for I think $5 a day(I may only be thinking about during the race though).
And here is where we'll be.

Didn't realize I was reading page 3 of 4 when I originally posted this.

    The latest trail news

Exfoliator is finished and ready. Mirkwood is ready too, though the horses are beating it up pretty badly.

I made a reservation a few weeks ago just in case we could go. Schedule is all clear, so we will be there. Second STR event for me(and hubby), mixed with camping... can't beat that.
