It's possible. Did we have any last year? I can't remember. This campout won't come soon enough for me, I'm really anxious to get out there again.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to ride by then but I sure hope so. I'm going to just drive up in the morning as it's less then an hour from home. Last year was a lot of fun and even if I don't ride I might just come up for the campfire chit-chat.

I'm counting the days for this trip. Only 10 rsvp's so far, seems like a small group. I believe the count total in years past was closer to 50+.

It's the same weekend as the Rwanda Ride(Apr 10) and many who camped out last year will be doing Rwanda ride like myself.

BTW there are 2 RSVPs for this event:

    1 on the 9th:
4th Annual Hurkey Creek Camp Out

    and 1 on the 10th:
4th Annual Hurkey Creek Camp Out

Sorry for such a blatant hijack, Liz, but if anyone out there has not seen this thread: http://www.socaltrailriders.org/for...erve-trails-above-hurkey-creek-idyllwild.html, then it would be appreciated if you would check it out.
For those that have, it has recently updated info. on it.

Even if you can't make the meeting, then it is possible to either voice your opinion or follow what happens by sending a mail and requesting to be put on the mailing list to [email protected]

Thanks and again, sorry for the hijack and see you all in April.

I'll also post this up on the Mountain Bike Idyllwild FB page, so see if a few of us locals will show. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?ref=profile&id=1053470861#!/group.php?gid=250895983591

QUESTION: Is there overflow parking available for additional vehicles? If so, how much per vehicle per night?

EDIT QUESTION2: Can somebody attach or link me to a map? Searched but couldn't find it...
