Hey there I noticed your guys forum and you all seem like a great group that loves to ride and have some fun. My names Jordan Im 32 and been riding off and on since I was about 15. Havent seriously ridden in about 5 years though. My last bike was a hardtail Stumpjumper so I just purchased a new Stumpjumper FSR Comp from Rock n Road Cyclery this past week and pick it up tomorrow. Cant wait to get back into riding shape and hit up some dirt. I live in Rancho Santa Margarita and definitely looking for people to ride with.

Some Bio on me. Im a magazine editor and photographer fulltime for Primedia. The two mags I am on are Off-Road Magazine and 4Wheel Drive & Sport Utility Magazine. I used to belong to a road cycling team when i was rather young 14-18. Recently, I was tired of being one of the only mag editors without a nice bike on all these trips we take to Moab and such places to cover events. Some other places to find me on the web are www.jordanmay.com or www.myspace.com/jordansrealm.

Welcome Jordan. You'll find a fairly good size group here. All kinds of riding. Browse the site then hook up with us for some of the rides.

Welcome Jordan! There are quite a few of us in this corner of OC! Hope to see you on the trails before long!

Thanks guys hope to be out there. Like I said its been a while so gimme a little time to get acquainted with the new machine and I will definitely head out with some of you. Dont want to lag too far behind you guys to begin with :)

Thanks! Still not sure exactly where that is I know the general area but not where the entrance is. Do you park at that open dirt lot just above Oakely? I always see the gate closed.

Welcome Jordan - There's often a slower paced ride being posted in the Trailhead forum. Check them out when you can.

Welcome Jordan...A lot of newbees on this site, me being one of them. You will find some very generous riders here. Very giving of there experience and mechanical advice. I'm from the 909, there is a lot of awsome trails there too...Our moto is "NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!"

So give a holla back when your ready to explore some dirt up there.

Hey, what's up? Glad to have you. Sweet photos on your site! You should get that little camera pocket thing from camelbak that hooks onto the shoulder strap. Very good place for a camera while riding - secure and easy to get to.

Welcome! I work for Primedia as well - in the Automotive.com division.

Funny that you mention Off-Road - the editor from a few years ago, Randall (forgot this last name) used to ride as well.

hey Jordan, that is great news!

I can honestly say that the guys here are great. I have only gone on 2 rides with group members but felt very welcomed in both cases.

I look at it this way....if they can put up with me then they will tolerate ANYBODY :)

Welcome Jordan,
I live in RSM also and always make quick last minute rides leaving from my house. Im one of the slower riders also so don't worry about pace.
The guys here are awesome, great times always.
