My buddy Chris ate it in the sand wash at the bottom of Chutes. Front wheel augered and he went flyin' OTB. Busted clavical :-( Manned up and walked out though! Heal quickly, Chris!
yeah that loose section is a tough one! its always a close call when going down it i hate feeling my tire wash out through it!
I wasn't witness to it but he said he went down the trail left of the oak tree pretty fast to have speed for the steep climb across from it. Another pal did the same as Chris two years ago. I like the right side myself. Kind of weird having too much speed in sand...I thought that the faster, the better. Too far up on the bike for sure though.
