I have compiled these links for easy access. Most of these are from BIKERADAR.com and I think they are very helpful for beginners and intermediates like me. I know there's more out there that I don't know of. It would be really helpful if some of you long time riders would pitch in and help out new comers.

I wonder if the title could be changed to this
MTB: Beginners And Intermediate Skills Links

I try to help beginners as much as I can.... I didn't have a good experience when I started riding to where my so called riding buddies would actually want me to crash bad so they could all have a really good laugh #-o So I ended up doing solo rides and applying whatever theory I get online, books, videos and learned from other riders I meet along the trail that are really cool and gave me pointers... I did this for almost half a year...

the pay-off: we all went to mammoth and the tables turned... PRICELESS!!! :bang:

I sent a pm to the moderator and asked him to change the title and to make this a "sticky". ;)

Thanks for putting it all together!!!

With regards to cornering, please don't skid around the switchback and ruin the trail. I like to go slow and aim for the far end, then turn at the last second in order to allow the rear wheel to clear the inside of the turn.
