Not really. There's King's down in Seal Beach, but they don't carry MTBs.

For me, the 20 min drive to The Path is worth it.

Kings is all road stuff and they didn't seem very friendly the 2 times I've walked in. Surf City has a lot of stuff but mainly Specialized and dont expect any deals. Take the time and drive to the better known shops i.e. Path, Adrenaline, Switchback, etc. I work in Seal so I'm right next door to ya.

The bike shops around Los Al don't specialize in mountain bikes. I would only go to the shops TrailJesus listed if you have repair needs.

You can go straight up bell flower to Jax LB on Spring right across from Worthington ford. There is also the location in Downtown HB that is a little farther. Don't have nearly as many goodies and deals compared with the Path, but the crew is first rate.

same as everyone above...high end roadie=King's........ mountain bikes...take the trip elsewhere...you'll be happy. Path/Adrenaline/Switchback....there are lots of good shops and if you have a good shop from where you're coming from just drop off you bike after a ride and pick it up before your next ride....just a thought! :-k Now beer and BBQ....if you need info on that, I can help out!

Beachwood BBQ? ;) Kinda pricey but they do have good food. Haven't had any of their beers yet but I go to the Irisher for that.

The peeps at Surf City will take care of you if let them know what you need, there is a nice shop called Richard's Cyclery in Los Alamitos if you wanted to check them out. Richard has some real beautiful museum type road bikes hanging from the ceiling.

Richard is the Man!

Richard's Cyclery on Chapman and Valley View is where I go.

Richard has been around so long he has forgotten more than I'll know.

Greg the Mechanic is an MTBer, but Richard was MTBing before Greg was born!
