    Hello Facial Hair Fans,
Welcome to the opening days to Movember. This is a momentous occasion where boys become men, men become legends, and women continue in awesomeness letting us delve into facial grandeur for a month.

If you have never participated in Movember here is some info for you to peruse: http://us.movember.com/about/. The short of it is that us men become walking/talking billboards to help raise awareness and money for men’s health issues, especially those pertaining to cancer of our manliest parts.

We, here at Jenson, have partaken in this for several years. Now, we are stepping things up a bit. This year we will getting you involved. This means that the men of Jenson, AKA MOJ, will be growing our ‘staches from November 1 to November 30 starting with a clean canvas on day 1. Each MOJ will update their photo once a week, and the progress will be posted on the Jenson Facebook. At the end, you will vote for the winner of the Jenson Team Mr. Movember.

We are also asking our men on ‘book (hip talk for Facebook), AKA the MOB, to post their ‘staches and progress in a similar fashion. Jenson employees will then vote on the winner of the customer contest for Mr. Movember. The most votes at the end of the month becomes Mr. Movember which earns you a $100 Jenson gift card, and a freight train worth of swagger.

So, how does one get involved? Follow this link to find out:https://www.movember.com/us/register/. Ladies, you might be asking, “I’m not a man, but I love a strong Mo. How can I help?” Don’t fret. Follow this link to see how you can get involved:http://us.movember.com/get-involved/mo-sistas/. Make sure to join the Jenson USA Team when you register: http://us.movember.com/team/482873.

We are also planning a set of Mo Pride Rides for both mountain and road biking. The Toru de ‘Stache road ride will be happening on the 3rd Saturday @ 8am leaving from Jenson USA, Riverside. There will be an “A” and “B” group with mileage ranging from 40-50mi and 20-25mi respectively. The Mustache Excursion mountain bike ride will be held on the last Thursday of Novermber @ 6:30pm, and be a 8-12mi ride through Sycamore Canyon.

Finally, make sure you familiarize yourself with the rules of Movember because a MoBro/Sis is a person of honor, pride, and strength.

    The Rules:
You must be register on the Jenson USA Movember team to be qualified to win Mr. Movember
You must garner at least $50 dollars in donations in order to be eligible to win Mr. Movember
You must start on Nov. 1st with a clean shave, and post on the Jenson Facebook page a weekly update photo until Nov. 30th.
All other Movember rules apply as found on Movember.com

    Cheers, S.

A note - you can start later in the month with your clean shave, and can join the team at any point. You must, however, start from a clean shave and grow the mustache in order to be eligible for Mr. Movember. Starting later in the month gives you less time to grow your epic facial friend.

    Hi everybody,
Okay everybody, we are half way through Movember, and my donations are looking a little sad. Remember we are raising money to fight prostate cancer and the like. Give a little, give a lot, just please help.

Okay everybody, we are half way through Movember, and my donations are looking a little sad. Remember we are raising money to fight prostate cancer and the like. Give a little, give a lot, just please help.

It's Movember and time to make a difference.

Men’s health is a cause I am passionate about but in order to make a difference I need your help. My commitment is to grow a moustache for the month of November and by changing my appearance, raise vital awareness and funds for men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

I am asking you to help support my personal journey by making a donation. The size of the donation isn’t important, every little bit helps Movember continue its funding of world-class programs.

To highlight the importance of what I am doing, take a look at these statistics:
    • 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
    • This year 242,000 new cases of prostate cancer will be diagnosed
    • This year 8,290 men will be diagnosed with testicular cancer

If you’d like to help change these statistics, please donate to me by:
    *Donating online at: http://mobro.co/SethKendall
*Writing a check payable to 'Movember', referencing my Registration ID: 1300888 and mailing it to: Movember, PO Box 2726, Venice CA 90294-2726

For more details, take a look at the Programs We Fund section on the Movember website: http://us.movember.com/about/funding-overview/
Thank you in advance for supporting my efforts to change the face of men's health.

    Seth Kendall
