Road Ride Report Mountain Two Roads And A Fixed

Decided to do a road ride with some friends this morning and thought I would share fun with you all. Amy(Sweatpea25) aka Ipod was trying out a new set of Road tires on her Rock Hopper Jared and Dave had the Road bikes and I decided to ride the fixed gear. We were interesting bunch that got some strange looks from the roadies as we made our way along the trail. We started from the Block in Orange and rode to the Rivers End restaurant in Seal Beach. Total ride is 51 miles round trip but we had to cut it short due to leg cramps in one of our riders. The weather was great and the scenery was spectacular. The sky was clear and you could see the snow covered mountains from the sand.

Ipod's battery died after 30miles leg cramps did her in#-o So we split from the group and waited for a rescue


But soon the cavalry arrived


Ipod aka Sweetpea25 on her return after a 5 mile ride from the bus stop 35 miles total not bad for her first road ride. :bang::clap::bang:

That is the view I really want to see maybe next weekend I will get up to the mountains
