I was wandering through my LBS today and came across a Rock and Republic jersey. I may not like MB but I did like the jersey and the colors.
Maybe I'll get it for 79.99 with my 20% discount.
I don't see who makes it though.

WHAAAT?? 209.00 DOLLARS??? For a jersey? Is he crazy?? What balls!!
The bib shorts were 229.00. I would have thought those would be over 300 if the jersey is 209. :?:

I have always thought it was silly to wear a full kit unless your fast as hell. Otherwise you just look like the dufas in the polkadot climbing jersey with a triple IMHO.

Neh.....I agree.....the jerseys are sometimes lame....and I'm a roadie convert and refused to wear the kits. The mistress is a good rider tho....and a tough cookie....she can wear what she wants (and it usually doesn't match but never mention that where she can hear you) LOL

 

Any woman that can ride with a squirrel between her boobs for 40 miles must be fast!

I was looking for the thread but couldn't find it. What was the general consensus? Do you recall? (if you even see this post)

 

I wear my road kit because it's a club kit and a lot of us wear them. Plus it makes me look fast .

I seen those jerseys for sale. I couldn't believe the price and I've yet to see anyone wearing the kit outside of a guy I know on the team. I asked him for a jersey and he told me he'd get me one. But now that I know the price I'll have to tell him to forget it unless he can get it for free, I don't want him paying for it as he usually gets jerseys and stuff for free.

 

I scraped up $8.00 for a water bottle..... Couldn't justify much more than that.....

I just bought a pair of Rock and Republic jeans....yeh I'm a bit slow on the 2+2 thing....but it made me cringe a bit knowing I supported that design concept. Meh...what do you do... my jeans make my butt look good...I turned the other cheek :lol:
