I recently tore the sidewall on a nearly new 2.35 UST Highroller. I was so pissed. I can still use the tire with a tube, though. The Superglue trick wouldn't work.
Great tires, though!
Try an automotive glue-on patch. I've done it many times on torn sidewalls.
The sidewalls on the non-UST Highrollers are much better than the Kenda's. The negatives on the Highrollers are the rolling resistance and the small size for 2.3 They are much easier to convert to tubeless than Kendas. The 60 Duro tires last a long time.
