First he loses his hand, then comes back for more. I think someone has failed TWICE. Failed Sui, I'm thinkin'...

IRVINE, Calif. -- A man who had his hand severed after being dragged by a Metrolink train two weeks ago was struck again on Tuesday and lived to tell about it, authorities said.

The 57-year-old man claimed he fell from the platform onto the tracks at the Irvine station and was hit by a northbound train Tuesday morning, police said.

The man gave the same explanation after he was hit by a train in Laguna Nigel Feb. 8 and dragged 87 feet, according to Sgt. Mike Meyers of the Irvine Police Department.

The man's left hand was severed at the wrist as a result.

Orange County Sheriff's officials investigated the first incident as an accident. Police are trying to figure out how he ended up on the tracks again.

The man was reportedly hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries.

Police said a mental health examination would be requested.

The man's identity has not been released.

I think the conductor was out to get him. (maybe the same conductor was on both trains and it's attempted murder:?:)

I work for the railroad and trains make for very ugly wounds. He needs to play the lottery, because he's very lucky.

Rumor has it that he is trying to break the guinness world record for single person being hit by a train
