I run 2 ms 900's off a 8.7ah battery and 1 off a 4.5ah battery. My question for you is do you think I would get more runtime if I ran the 2 lights on my bars off of seperate 4.5ah batteries? Right now I'm running the 8.7ah battery down pretty quick.

Pretty sure He wont comment on how his lights run best man! I do know of a few people making home made batts and they have had all kinds of different results.

Running two lightheads off a single battery is less efficient than running each on a separate battery pack. You would get slightly better burntime if you had two 4.5Ah batteries. If you are in the market for another high capacity pack the GeoManGear 6.0Ah 4 cell pack will be available at the end of the month. It's identical in appearance to the new GMG 4.5Ah pack, weighs 8 grams more but has 33% more capacity so burning a single 900 on high for approx 4.25 hrs

Thanks for the reply's. I have one 8.7ah and two 4.5ah batteries so I'm good but thank you though. I'll try running each light off of it's own battery and see if I can get a bit more runtime out of them.

    Hi Chewy

Please email [email protected] with your info so we can take a look if your claim has made it through the Recall Admin Company. Whilst it's on that side of the process we can't see any status, they have had a bunch of claims and are working their way through them.

Geo, I'm in the same boat. I sent all 4 batteries back right when I got the recall notice via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in two separate Priority boxes. I have received no new batteries or communication from your end. So do you think we should get it by this summer?

Geoman Reply as to when I might be seeing my replacement batteries
They have had documentation for over a month

We have had a huge response to the recall and this very detailed, regulated, complicated recall process is going to take longer than we hoped. There are multiple steps involved after we receive your claim form from verifying the name, address, PIN and number of batteries against our order database to scanning and attaching your signed claim form to the database that is provided to the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, to creating the XML data format to handle the shipping aspect of the process. The recall administrator we contracted is receiving thousands of claim forms each week and working as quickly as possible but we are not able to predict when each person will receive their replacement battery pack
