Hi all, first post here...I've done all the searching, re-searching and reading on this site and others about which lights to get and have narrowed my choices down to Cygolite and/or Niterider. (Currently own a Niterider Trailrat II) The budget I've been working with is approx. $300 to $350. I've seen the Cygolites quality and build and didn't look to be anythng less then Niterider or some of the other higher priced models. So I just need some feedback on what you guys you would do given the choices I'm looking at. Don't dwell to much on the $$$ as the sum will be in the general budget area. Weight is also not a big issue either. I'm also not still really sure how many lumens I need for fire roads and not too technical single track. I don't bomb descents so doing high speed descents is not an issue. I really, really, appreciate any help and feedback!

Thanks!

Choice #1:
Niterider Trinewt (486 lumnes/3.5 hrs)
on handle bar. approx, $300-350

Choice # 2:
Cygolite TridenX Li-ion (600 lumens/2.5 hrs) on handle bar. approx. $270

Choice # 3:
Cygolite Mitycross (350 lumens/3.5 hrs) on handle bar and Cygolite Rover II (255 lumens/3.5 hrs) on helmet. approx. $310

Choice # 4:
Cygolite Mitycross (350 lumens/3.5 hrs) on handle bar and Niterider MiNewt-Mini (110 lumens/3 hrs) on helmet. approx $305

Choice # 5:
Cygolite Mitycross (350 lumens/3.5 hrs) on handle bar and Niterider SoleMate (115 lumens/4hrs) on helmet. appox. $330

Please point out anything I may have not seen and any thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks again for the help!
