LA Rides

So summer is here, schools out and i want to do some riding in the la area. I've seen a bunch of rides in the santa monica mountains just dont know where to begin... I've never ridden outside of the OC so someone shoot me some ideas and stuff. Im not the strongest technical rider so intermediate stuff on the tech, climbing is no issue nor distance....

Kanan Tunnel 1 Backbone:
Take Kanan from Agoura South toward the beach;
Pass Mulholland and drive a few more miles to Tunnel 1; and,
Parking lot is on the RIGHT.

MAP: Tunnel 1 TH

Going westward...
RR: Kanan to Encinal on the Backbone (west to Encinal)

Going eastward...
RR: Acendication Crue on the Backbone (east up to the Castros)

Random ride I once did...
RR: Zuma Creek Canyon

Encinal Backbone:
Take Kanan from Agoura South toward the beach;
Turn RIGHT on Mulholland;
Veer LEFT onto Encinal Canyon Road, travel about 2 miles; and,
Parking lot is on the RIGHT.

Malibu Creek State Park
Take Las Virgenes from Agoura South toward the beach;
Turn RIGHT on Mulholland;
Park anywhere along Mulholland for free; and
TH into MCSP is on the LEFT (south), TH onto Grasslands trail is on the RIGHT (north).

MAP: Malibu Creek (shows main parking lot -- you do not need to park in there)
