    Is that second picture on the actual race course?

    i think the second picture was taken at 4 corners (top of the first climb)

    Aren't you up in Alpine right now? How are things looking up there right now? Did you have a chance to make it down to the race course today?

    Yup, I do think that you are right; that looks like where we will take Kernan Trail back down to the finish from 4 corners.

    yeah i am in alpine. little sleet going on, no snow here yet. should get some tonight. we didn't go up any higher than alpine today.

    I think that says 'to finish' if you look carefully, so that would be the entrance to the last DH from 4-Corners.

    Does XC mean you can do it with cross country skiis? You might end up finishing faster than on an xc bike.
