Other than the lack of disc tabs, how's this compare to the Redline at Pricepoint?

I'm thinking my next bike will be a rigid SS 29er.

I'm a little worried about the stand over height on both these frames. I have short legs.

i'm not sure. i've seen more happy zion owners.

You get what you pay for and the Redline is pretty low end. I've heard good things about them, but would go for the Zion over it. 29er sizing runs a little different than on 26er frames. The specs and size recommendations are listed in the description on Jenson's site.

I've been looking at that frame too. It's a lot cheaper, and I like the color, but the Zion just looks a little better. I'm not sure why though.

I think I remember something on Empty Beer about the EBB creaking. My other concern (which appears to be unwarranted) is that I've never heard of Zion before, but Redline has been around for awhile. Redline's commuter road bike (925) has been getting good reviews as well.

The Zion's are pretty reliable from what I've read and heard. I've heard a few bad things about the Redline's before.

I also have heard of people having problems with the EBB. Ask around here on the board about EBB's. I'm sure you'll get some good answers.

I can't afford a eccentric hub so I've been leaning EBB.

Eccentric hub = forever adjusting your brakes ?

An Eccentric hub is cheaper than the Zion frame.
