Well, just the piston actually. It looks that the pad retainer spring came off somehow and let the pad drop just a touch, which cause the pin to hit the pad, instead of sit in the hole where it shold be. Broke the entire pin of the piston. Pisses me right off, first time I have had a failure of brakes on the trail. Not sure what happened to cause it, but I cannot find the retainer spring anywhere.
Oh well, I will call up Hayes first thing in the morning, and see what they can do for me. Hopefully they will just hook it up with another set, that would be really cool, chances are They will give me a bleed kit, a set of pads, and a caliper kit.
