Help with RockShox Reverb?

Long time supporter of Jenson's and every year I get a modest stack of Jensen's gift cards for Christmas and hopefully this year is no different.

I've convinced myself this is the next thing I need to go faster:

but this is my first foray into dropper seatposts and I'm having difficulty determing how THIS unit is different than the one (above) at Jenson's.

What small but oh-so critical detail am I overlooking? Why is the Amazon one so much cheaper?

huh. Briliant! I have submitted a request for price match.
I really do endeavor to keep the dollars spent limited to my fav 3 LBS' and Jenson's (counts as one of the 3 LBS for me) gets about 75%. I hope it works out. I'd rather give them my money if I can help it.

the one at jenson is the newest model the one on amazon is a older model you can tell by the color of the seat collar

You can also tell which is the newer version by the connection of the hose into the top of the seatpost. The older version has a [mostly useless] rubber boot to protect the hose barb connection, while the new one has an alu cap which should do better to keep the barb safe from silly mechanics that don't handle the hose with care when clamping the post into work stands.
