Hey, I have been out of the biking world for a while and pulled out my old mountain bike. My wheels got stolen in Arizona back in the day, so I need a new set of V brake wheels(and A 7 speed cassette). I found some good deals on the DT Swiss E 540s (unknown hubs) and the Ditch Witch Rims (unknown hubs), but they are set up to run disc brakes and wont work on my set-up. So basically I am looking to trade or work a deal.

I have:

1 set of DT swiss E 540s unknown hubs, missing front wheel dust guard, no QRs

1 set of Ditch witch rims w/front QR and Rear Bolt axle

(both wheels are very clean and in good shape)

I need:

1 set of V brake wheels(not disc)

1 7 speed cassette

PM me and I will try to get back to you quickly.

thanks

I am located In Upland CA, near Euclid Ave and Foothill blvd

I may have a tubeless set that I'd be willing to let go. I'll look at them tonight and PM the details.

The ditch witch is rim brake friendly, if memory is correct It's a pinned version of the Rhyno/Lite.

If you want to get it done quick and easy, just stop in Performance and buy the house brand wheels and a 7 speed cassette and life is good.

If you do buy the house brand wheels, take off the hub end caps and pack the space with grease for water repelling.

Got some spare vbrake rims sitting here.. lemme know.. few bucks would do..

Dont want to hijack the thread but I need a cheap rear V brake wheel that will fit a modern shimano cassette.

Hey BananaBoy... come over and get my Salsa wheel, it fits a new cassette, I put one on and checked, let me know....

Thanks for the info about the Ditch Witch Rims being Compatible with v brake. I have a clearance issue with any hub that is offset even a little bit, the spokes hit my fork, so I need a hub that is centered and a rim that is v brake compatible.

Pms returned

Still available and open to trades or sells/buys
