I am selling my 1994 Nissan Hardbody Ext Cab, 4X4, V6, 5spd, XE, Pick up truck.
$1500.00 OBO It KBB's for fair at $3015.00
Or will take trade on an Equal MTB.

Has a CD player and an Orion 400X4 cobalt amp wired to the front doo speakers, which are Orion cobalt and a set of 6X9's in the rear in their own box.

I have to let her go to fund my bike.

Pics will come up this afternoon when I get home from work.

Truck needs work, needs a clutch, and a tune up. I do not have the time or money to do this. Has 225,000 miles and is an out of state registered vehicle. Going with it is a brush guard that is not on it at this time.

Just FYI, seller is required to provide smog cert.
Better check and see if it can pass, or need some Cali only hardware.
Otherwise you may be out some serious money.
I've had 2 hardbady trucks. Good, reliable, and most repairs can be done by any semi competant person.

has VA tags so its sold as a out of state sale. Sorry. Has a custom intake so they wont pass it and i kinda cut the exhaust. Reason for the price.

Is it driveable (will it make it to OC?) What would it take to make it smog legal?
    Thanks.

Yeah it would, where in the OC. And to make it pass smog it would need an intake from the junk yard and an exhaust. It might need to be tuned, like spark plugs ect. I replaced the starter, cap and rotor last year. It will need a timing belt in about 20,000 milles and a water pump to go with it. And a clutch. Other than that it is fine. Some body damage but for 1500 you have to expect that.

you might be able to skirt the smog cert with the out of state registration being the owner but title cannot transfer without it (damn AQMD) what you can do is if it is currently registered and insured is to sell it to the state for an easy thousand with no haggling. I bought a Jeep earlier this year without a smog check and when it failed the DMV refused me registration and I had to go back to the seller to get the cat replaced as I had already spent nearly $300 doing the 60k maintenance. Had to sell it for quick cash and bet it still runs great. I'd be tempted to swoop on this truck, because I do have a crane to get at the clutch if it can't be done from the bottom. But already have a monster in the desert that does not need smog and has an engine with less than 2k.

What size hard tail are you looking for?

A med. for the bike. And it dont have to be a hardtail. And the tranny is easy to get to fromt he bottom. 20 bolts and you have it. That includes removing the cross member. Which is easy because i did it 6 years ago when i replaced the clutch when i bought it.

I dont want to suggest anything illegal but a diesel from an equilivent year could have vin numbers and plates swapped then it would be smog exempt. But this would be illegal.
