I just got my tank topped off for free at the corner of La Cienega and Beverly Blvd, right by the Beverly Center. Part of some video game promotion. Mercenaries 2 or something, the website is http://www.mercs2.com

Its a little crazy with traffic, but I waited like 30 minutes and got my tank topped off with $54 worth of premium gasoline free of charge - and they even pumped it!

You can't miss it, they're all dressed up in military fatigues - simply awesome find!

O yeah, they're going to be out there until 6pm tonight - and there is a $60 limit per car!

I tanked up my spare storage tanks with diesel on Friday, before Hurricane Gustav hits and prices go sky high again like they did a few summers ago. 40 gallons should be good for about... almost 2000 miles.
