SOLD: Medium 2007 Van Dessel Jersey Devil FS 29er Frame

    SOLD!

Next week, I will be breaking down my 2007 Van Dessel Jersey Devil FS 29er and it will be available to a new home.

It's a medium 4" travel 29er frame with a Horst link. The shock on it is a 2008 Fox RP23 (6.5" x 1.5"). It will also include a Cane Creek integrated headset. I have a few extra derailleur hangers that I will include too.

There are no dents or cracks or any other nasties like that. There are some paint chips from chainslap on the bottom of the driveside chainstay as well as around some of the pivots when I went to tighten up/loctite the pivot bolts. Speaking of which, the bottom bracket pivot has recently been serviced with new bearings. There is also some scuffing from the cables along the top tube.

The frame specs are as follows:
    Seat Tube C-T: 16.83"
    Effective Top Tube: 22.83"
    Head Angle: 71.5
    Seat Angle: 74
    Chainstay: 18.3"
    Wheelbase: 43.7"
    Seatpost Diameter: 27.2mm
    Travel: 4" (100mm)
    Weight: 6.5 lbs w/ shock

I would say this frame would fit riders between 5'7" and 5'10".

I'm looking for $550 obo (for frame , headset & hangers only). Available for pickup in Irvine, or I can be found at Whiting on most Wednesdays or Thursdays at the Fullerton Loop.

I'm going to stick the gearie parts on my Voodoo Aizan for now and see how I like it.

I'll have to wait and see what new frames will be introduced at Interbike. I'm hoping for a FS 29er 4-5" frame that pedals like a HT and descends like a DH bike. Lateral stiffness is an absolute requirement. ISCG tabs would be nice for something like the HammerSchmidht. Weight under 6 lbs would be a bonus. Oh, and a MSRP of somewhere around $1200 would be very nice. What are my chances? :?:

I disassembled the bike this morning so it's officially ready for a new home.

Added some closeup pictures of the frame alone as well.
