    I may.. still undecided for this round. I tweaked my knee a little skiing recently so trying to see how it feels by Sunday.. Are you racing Chris?

    Doubtful. I'm stuck in no-man's land between Sport and Expert. I've done Sport for three seasons and should move to Expert, but the Pro/Ex courses frequently offer some serious consequences and OTB opportunities that I should not risk. I'll go out on a few Saturdays and see what's on offer. I doubt I will race since that sucks up both days of the weekend. I do love competition however. It's fun to beat guys that are three classes younger!

    The Fontana Hack! You know it, you love it! 24 hours of coughing up blood and tar after sprinting the wall. At least the beers soothe it a little.

    No moisture in the ground...needs rain...XC course was in fine mid-summer DG dust on hard pan with plenty of sandy spots...although there were quite a few who turned out. No wind. Perfect temps in the AM. Hope the wind stays away for the DH crew tomorrow.

    According to AQMD, everything west of the Santa Anas/Corona line to the coast was "unhealthy for sensitive groups" --almost "unhealthy for all" due to PM 2.5 for the last few days. The IE showed "Good" air (green on their map). I should've ridden out that way either raced or just fun riding. PM 2.5 (and PM 10 for that matter) is nasty, goes into lungs and doesn't come out.

    I went and raced both the SD, and DH, both my classes are well stacked with fast guys, I felt pretty good on both runs I did in each category and expected to place better than I did, but we have good competition in each group, which will make me step up the game up a bit,
    Overall I had fun, both SD and DH courses were fun, didnt see any major crushes this weekend.
