The 4.1d rims are disc-specific (not rim-brake compatible), right?

I think the DT Swiss rims compatible with rim-brakes usually are machined or have a ceramic coating on the braking surfaces. These are just anodized.

We took the stickers off when the wheels were new, so I'm not positive of the exact model, other than I know it's a DT Swiss 4.1

i have a set of dt swiss xr1540 wheels and they are actually painted or powdercoated and they STILL say their rim brake compatible. my guess is they'd look like crap after the first ride because brake pads would be on a painted surface. point being, i wouldnt go by what finish they use. if it's a machined sidewall (even if anodized) and it's big enough for a braking surface, i think i'd use it. And your wheels seem to fit the bill.
I doubt they'd be dumb enough to make it look like a usuable braking surface if it actually wasnt... they'd be sued pretty quick.

Dumb questions...

1. ACTUAL weight difference between Saint Brakes and Magura Marta SL's? :?:
(And YES, Marshall knows the exact number)

2. Do you have the original Saint levers?
(There's this woman... If I tried to put Pink levers on her bike, she would stab me with them)! :o
