I haven't seen this posted here yet. IMO this is one of the better trails in San Diego and is need of a little bit of love, brush clearing, etc. Below is the excerpt from the SDMBA webpage.

Join the San Diego Mountain Biking Association, Olivenhain Municipal Water District and our trail work sponsors BeyondBikes and Clif Bar on Saturday, October 25th for a trail work event at Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve. We will be cutting back brush and improving sight lines on the Equine Incline Loop Trail. All tools and training will be provided. Please bring eye protection, gloves, hat, sun block, water, and a snack. Meet at the main parking lot at 8:00 am (the gate to the main parking lot will be opened at 7:30 am) for sign-in, work instructions and safety meeting. The rangers will be shuttling us to the work site so please be on time. Due to limited parking, please consider carpooling.

After the trail work event, join BeyondBikes, the San Diego Mountain Biking Association plus our friends from the industry showing off their latest gear at BeyondBikes annual Biketoberfest. The event takes place in the parking lot in front of the BeyondBikes retail store at 12310 World Trade Drive, Suite 107, San Diego CA 92128. BeyondBikes will be serving free beer, food and massive savings on bikes, parts and gear from 10am to 4pm.
Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve is located between mile markers 6 and 6.5 on Harmony Grove Rd.
