demand for a trip in USA

Hello to all cycling fans, I would ask a council to take a holiday in USA, where you can go mountain biking in the countryside, where a place in January or February the weather was not cold, thanks

At that time of year, the only places that will not be too cold in the USA would be in the Southwest USA (lower elevations). For mountain biking I would consider Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas Nevada. These places sometimes get cold storms but they normally do not last more than a few days.

Southern California could be beautiful, but it could also be wet and rainy, its more unpredictable because we are closer to the coast. If you do decide on Southern California, I would consider the Coachella Valley (Palm Springs, CA) its probably the warmest place with mountain biking in Southern California.

If I were planning a trip to SoCal for a trip in Jan/Feb. I'd look into the Palm Canyon Epic and sorroundings. I'd also look at S. Orange county and Santa Barabara depending on weather. The San Gabriel can also be great that time of the year, depending on immediate weather.

+1 for Vegas, lots of miles, cheap hotels and some nightlife among other factors.

Marco, what type of trails do you like riding in Italy? AM or mostly XC? Do you live in N. Italy near the lakes? What are your favorite trails over there?

I would also recommend Vegas. The temps should be nice out there in Jan/Feb and you can find great deals on food and accomodations. You can ride the Cowboy Trails, Union Trails, Cottonwood, Bootleg or drive a little up to St. George or Gooseberry Mesa for some good riding as well (if the weather permits). How long will you be visiting the United States? If you are staying in Los Angeles area, you are only minutes or an hour away to many beautiful trails. From Laguna Beach,Ca, Santa Monica,ca all the way to Santa Barbara,Ca I think you will enjoy riding near the coastal towns. Since rental cars usually have unlimited mileage, less than a days drive is Phoenix,Az, Las Vegas Nevada. If you come in April or May, perhaps you can ride in places most riders consider mountain biking mecca. Moab, Utah. Fruita,Co. Brian Head,Utah and Sedona,Az.

Have you ridden in the Dolomite Mountains? Do you have any pictures? DO you like Singletrack?
