I discovered this park a few days ago. It looks like there are trails I can ride my mtb on, but I find very little information on the park. Can anyone tell me about it?

I should mention that I am more of a cross-country rider than anything. When I ride, I like to see what there is to see and to be in the hills, forest, or desert. I don't thrive on brutal climbs and am fine with fire roads.

Thanks

Hi Bruce, Chino Hills would seemingly be a grand landscape for your menu to partake.
When I started mtb-ing, I used a guide book and I was fond of it's reference to CHSP. Honestly, haven't been out there for.....4 years maybe.
I would encourage you to check out geoladders website (free) might help doing a search and utilize that for it's worthiness.
I always started at Carbon Canyon and charted my course, usually North Ridge(legality/erosion) and rode that to the end of the park and return via South ridge, fun roller coaster.
I wish you the best with your bike endeavors/adventures.

I have been out there 4 times in the past couple months. To me it only attracts me when the wildflowers and the green grass is tall. I park on the North end at the Elinvar entrance and ride in. There is more single track at that end of the park. Scully Ridge, Sidewinder and Raptor are the trails to go find. Go to Google maps and click on the bike tab it will show you the singletrack, zoom in and the trail names will appear.
