I was cleaning my bike tonight and I noticed this. About three teeth are completely broken off. Is this even something I can repair w/o actually replacing the rear derailleur? Thanks

Just use an allen wrench to get it off and bring it to a bike shop. They are about 5 bucks I think. It's a very common part.

Sure, you can replace the pulleys seperately. I know Jenson carries some Shimano pulleys, but if you're not sure which ones to get exactly I'm sure your LBS can help you out. Should only cost about $20 max depending on which model you have to buy both pulleys (might as well replace them both). Otherwise you can find XT rear deraileurs for about $40 (the M750 closeout price) at Jenson also.

thanks for the responses. I took them off and looked up prices on the net, but I'm just going to go to Bike Company tomorrow and pick up the parts that way I can ride my bike this weekend.

Yeah man, $40 XT rear deraillers at Jenson. I'm already kicking myself in the a$$ for not getting one for the parts bin! ](*,)
