Want To Buy Budget front disc brake

Hi all,

I'm looking for a budget front disc brake (160mm) for my SS/cruiser. It doesn't have to be pretty, just functional.

Let me know what you've got and perhaps we can make a deal.

Note - I have extra Hayes and Avid rotors (160mm) lying around, so I may only need a caliper and lever.

I have a Hayes MX-2 front brake and lever for sale, and I may even have a 160mm adapter laying around. PM me if you're interested, I'd be looking for around $25 for the setup shipped. EDIT: lever is a Hayes MTB lever, a BMX lever won't ever work properly w/ a MTB ratio brake.

Where you at?

$40 for a pair of Stroker Rydes, front works fine and rear is great for pads:lol:. It actually works just not well, if that not your things I also have an MX-2, Front Tech 77 BMX lever, and enough electric blue housing to run it on the rear you score for $20. Both sets have split clamp levers so you can dump them without grip removal.
