I recently found a great deal on an older (but still unused) rockshox fork that was just too good to be true, and since no LBS could match it, i had to order it from out of state. Problem is, they sent it to me via air (instead of ground) and the package got to me with shock oil covering the shipping box and plastic bag it came packaged in.
Long story short, the dealer contacted RockShox and a brand new fork is being shipped (2010 baby!) to replace the older model year unit that blew up. It should be here by wednesday of next week...i'll keep you guys posted.
I just had to share...there just doesn't seem to be too many companies left out there willing to go the extra mile to ensure the customer/end user is satisfied with their purchase. Bravo Rockshox...i'm glad i stuck with your product instead of going with someone else.
