I'm looking at options for bike carrying on my truck. Anyone have experience with ball-mounted racks? They aren't very popular but I've seen a couple online. My truck doesn't have a receiver but it does have a bumper mounted hitch ball.

Also thinking about drilling the top of the camper shell and putting a couple fork mounts or a rack on it, but I prefer to keep the wind resistance down. At 26 years old and 100 hp, I don't have a lot of power to spare.
