Hi my name is Denny Hazen aka the Average Homeboy. Back in ancient history I was an OG member of STR in the nascent years when it had a population of less than 100 peeps. At the time Nunya was a pain in the arse as were a few other ‘trolls’. We didn’t have a name for them back In those days, other than ‘douche bag’.
Truthfully, I am super excited that STR is still going strong! Good peeps started this and it seems that good peeps keep it going. My time away from SoCal only grows with time but there isn’t a day where I don’t recall the good times we had in the Santa Ana mountains or along the unique Laguna coastal mountain habitat.
Seriously I love y’all: my old buds and those I would have gotten to know had I stuck around.

Keep it blazen, Senor Hazen. Unfortunately STR has died. It was a long, lingering death. Nobody has buried the corpse so it just sits here and rots.

At least your music career is still flourishing. I see your video is over 2 million views now.

Clinky and mtnbikej thanks for the update. Sorry to hear The Matrix has taken over STR. Such honorable grassroots foundations are few and far between these days it seems. I’ll see if I can scare y’all up on that other website. STR 4 ever! I still wear my STR gear with pride. Them was damn good times with damn good peeps. Some of the best I’ve ever known, which is saying something.
Nevertheless, I love y’all!
