NEW COURSE for the April 7th race!

Sorry but no bouncy allowed at this race due to park reg's


The Balboa Park race is back and is always a great time! This will be a fun race for all ability levels to try out some urban mountain biking.

Entry Fee information:
$50 - Pro Men and Women 100% PRO PAYOUT (XC only)
$38 - All amateur XC classes (Beg, Spt, and Exp)
$38 - All Marthon Classes presented by Seki's Cycles
$25 - First timers / Chasers presented by Zumwalts Bicycle Center
No Refunds

Directions:
From the 5 South exit Pershing Dr. Stay on Pershing. Make a left in to the San Diego Velodrome parking.

There is more parking available by the pool areas.

Course Map:
There will be a course option race day of going down the rocky stair step way or a much easier descent before you get there on the left. It will be marked and will not matter which way you choose, the option is yours.
Course Direction is Counter-Clockwise


Lap Count:

Beginner U-15 - 2
Beginners- 3
Sport- 4
Expert and Pro's- 5
Seki's Cycles Marathon- as many as possible before the 3.5hr cutoff. Your last lap must be finished before 4.5 hrs after race start.
Schedule:
Thursday, April 5th:
6:00 pm Online registration closes

Friday, April 6th:
10:00am-6pm - Registration and Packet Pick up at Zumwalts Bicycle Center.

Saturday, April 7th:
6:00 to 8:30 On site registration and number pick up
7:00 am Marathon presented by Seki's Cycles race start
9:00 am Beginner and First Timers race start
10:00 am Sport Start
10-1 Fresh food cooked on site
11:30 am Expert and Pro race start
Awards following the conclusion of the race
 
Online registration closes tonight but we will be having on site registration on Saturday until we sell out.

That's right we are just around the corner from racing on the new course at Balboa Park this Saturday April 7[SUP]th[/SUP]. This Saturday's race will also benefit the East Lake High School Mountain Bike team so grab your friends and family and come out and join us for a great time riding our bikes!

Spy Optics has also joined forces with Racers and Chasers to bring you more SWEET SCHWAG at our events! We have been using their new SCREW glasses for riding and they are awesome! If you need a new cool looking kit we will also have some SPY kits for sale at this Saturdays race


O-tus want to give you $125 worth of product with the contest that they are having on Facebook. O-tus wants to see how you use your Safe Sounds.


We are also proud to announce the ESI Grips Kids Race where ESI Grips has lots of fun activities planned for the kids. The future big time racers will even be able to decorate their own number plates!
