anyone doing the bikeskills clinic Saturday?

I've been to both.

Joe Lawill teaches a good class and some good skills. It's beginner to intermediate level using Aliso Woods trails.

Julius' class will be on much tougher terrain.

so how was it? im thinking about signing up for one of joe's clinics. I know it's a Beginner/intermediate clinic, but is he (and how) accomodating to different levels in the group? My friend wants to sign up too but she is even less experienced than me.

Joe's class teaches fundamentals that most can benefit from...unless you are an advance rider then you probably would already know the stuff.

When I attended, Joe had several other assistants in the clinic to bring up the middle and the rear to make sure no one falls behind. Then Joe would make stops at certain terrain features to demonstrate skills and have everyone cycle through them.

I don't think skill gap between you and the friend will create any problem since this is not an advanced class.
