I'd go for the Presta Flator. Can't remember how much it was (not cheap), but it's super easy to use.

Some direct answers for the OP..... Unless its a compressor for a paint sprayer<technically thats just a pump> they will all run 90 plus PSI, possibly up to 150.... <not including industrial use>
Biggest thing you need to find out is what your volume needs are, if your just inflating tires, a small 3gal works great, enough volume to fill a tire, fills up fast, and works well. If your running air tools, youll want to get something bigger. Most fifty gallon will do the job well, but not for an extended time..... DOwnside, take longer to fill up.

Next question is.... How are you with noise. Oilless will be loud, they all are... they take a little longer to fill, and piss off the neighbors... Oil type are less loud and fill faster. I will let you guess which is more expensive.

it will work to fill tires but not good for setting the bead. If you're not going tubeless it's fine.

picked up a 3 gallon 1/2 hp compressor at HF and it works for tons of stuff, Obviously its a small tank and could take longer than a big compressor to fill car tires or the like. It works well for its size and has yet to fail me. 100psi cap on the tank and doesn't take too long to fill it up! think it was like 40 bucks new. and a hose is like 5. If you want a high quality one that will last forever spend some decent coin and get something nice. I dont use mine for all too much so 40 was the right price.

I'm pretty sure you're kidding... but this is a great idea if you want to pump for days to reach 35 psi or if you want people to laugh at you struggle.

I bought a basic hose/fitting kit from Harbor Freight when I bought the compressor. Only other piece needed is a presta-schrader adapter, either online or at just about any bike shop.
