Has anyone tried the 661 Moto Knee/Shin Guards? I'm curious how they would work for BMX racing. I've got a set of the race 661 knee/shin guards. They work great for downhill but are too big & sloppy for BMX racing. Thanks!
For BMX racing, I still prefer either the Troy Lee Gran Prix or Gran Prix Air pants. When I feel that I want to wear pads I just wear the normal moto-type knee/shin guards under the pants. That setup offers much better mobility and cooling over any knee/shin guard I've used (which have been many, including the 661 Race pads). In fact, I now use pants with the moto guards for riding DH.
