As they say things happen in threes. A 51 year old man , who was riding with a friend died from apparent natural causes while riding the Loop. This happened at the brea creek area. I rode at about 4:00 Saturday and they say this happened around 2-3 that same day.

On another note the second tunnel at the golf course is clear to ride through as of this morning.

    Goodbye and goodbye

Here's the OC Register Article... http://www.ocregister.com/news/fullerton-232060-bicyclist-stapp.html

FULLERTON – An autopsy is pending for bicyclist William Scott Stapp, 51, who died Saturday afternoon on the Fullerton bike trail at Brea Creek near Harbor Boulevard and Bastanchury Road, the coroner's office said.

Stapp of Lake Elsinore was riding with a friend about 3 p.m. on what is called The Fullerton Loop when he collapsed, according to Fullerton police reports.

"His next of kin has been notified, and everything points to a natural death," Police Sgt. Andrew Goodrich said.
