    Lol notice Beamont was slick enough to chnage helmets mid run. Maybe changing helmets twice caused him to crash.

    Haha, called the top to spots! Congrats to both Rachel & Aaron! Was a little concerned about Rachel's run for a moment. Thought for sure the judges were going to DQ her for going outside the lines.

    Aaron, WOW! Unbelievable ride! When he was down at the first section I was like he's just finding his mojo. The dude just glided through the rock garden and had it pinned so nicely. Amazing run for sure.

    Gee had a solid looking run too. Good to see him finishing on the podium after being pegged with one too many injuries this season.

    This needs to be a new story in the mainstream media. LA Times, Sports Illustrated (except for the jinx), ESPN mag - hell even the OC Register - somebody needs to be stoked outside of mountain biking. To beat 150 of the best racers 9 times in the last 12 WC races (with the others being two 2nds and a 5th) is an amazing story in itself. For a guy who first rode a mt. bike in 2008 - it borders on unbelievable.

    Every idiot in a sports bar needs to know this story, if you can pry him away from talking baseball. Aaron Gwin or Tony Gwinn - who's the better athlete?

    That's is the most common stupid question. I think it has been proven over and over with the very few exceptions that to say someone who plays one sport is a better athlete then another is stupid.
