How do you like the spark? Don't you usually ride something more AM type bike?

I think if you gave them the 2 sized bikes that looked about the same age , and they hadn't read or seen all the marketing hype on the bikes, it might be closer to 50-50. That's just a guess. If you're poor your priorities are much different, IMHO:)

There a many still riding 26". 1st world issue, many people in other parts of the world would just love to have A bike. Enjoy whatever y0u ride!!!

That's interesting because the protection tire has the higher tpi, opposite of what sheldon brown says. I've heard the protection is really better than the lower tpi tire. Hmmmmmm

Has anybody compared the 2 tires.,continental mtn king II. One is 200's tpi, the other 85 tpi. Flat protection, tubeless ready or regular(to use as tubeless)? Pro/cons????

welcome!! I'm originally from SD, lived in Mass for 17 yrs( till 2002), now live inland from LA(inland empire). I didn't really do alot of mtn biking back east but do alot now. There is a SD mtn bike group (can't remember the name) . Mtns east of the city suppose to be great Julian,Cuyamaca...

Those wheels have a weight limit? How big was the person? I've heard nothing but good things about chinese wheels and frames.

For some of us who have other financial priorities, one bike has to do. Dialing in a 1x10 combo to try and cover your types of riding can be challenging.

I currently run 30T and 11-36. I'm planning on going to 32 and the praxis 11-40 (1x10). Met a guy on the trail who says the praxis cassette is smooth!
