Hey sorry for the delay- I just saw your message. I like to work on my bike as you can probably tell. I take all the aluminum parts off the bike first. You can only anodize aluminum- so if there is any steel, it must be removed(like a steel steer tube pressed into fork crowns, etc.). I go to a place near my work called Alumin-Art, it's in Ontario. They will strip any anodizing off first so that I can prep them. This is usually just a quick hand polish depending on the part. I then take them back and they will anodize them any color I want for $65- usually takes about a week. I live in Mira Loma and currently can't ride(broken wrist) so if you need any help, let me know.
