I ended up getting white. It should be ready to ride next week!

Feeling a little stiff, but strong. Huge appetite. Ready to go again.

Friday I went to Victory Trailhead at the west end of Victory blvd in West Hills. Hot but nice scenery. I took my mom who read a book while I rode. Parking was 1.00$. Sandy areas were tough and I'm now adjusting to the sliding on steep downhills. Cool area. I went around the Lasky loop. Next time I'll get to Las Virgenes area. Thanks for the add too.

You did see the country! Don't you love the practicality of Israeli culture? My favorite restaurant was in Abu Gosh, just outside Jerusalem. But I was taken to one in Nahariya that was as good. Sorry I cannot remember either of their names. I know how to get there though!

Hiked Nix yesterday and met a Sabra who fought in '67 war. Told me many stories re his boyhood in Israel.

I'm still getting back into shape after being off the bike. Maybe I will meet you guys out there. Sunday? What time?

Love to hear what you did over there! I haven't been on my bike in a month. Bike was at the Path while in Israel and when I went to pick it up, I left it there, b/c I found a new handle bar I liked. Ready to be picked up today. HOpe I remember how to ride it......

I hiked, repelled, swam and walked my rear-end off, though. Lost weight w/Israeli diet and going from 7a-6p daily. Went to Jordan, peered into Syria, Lebanon, Jericho.
Have some new thoughts about Israeli culture, the US and middle east conflict. If I can pick up an assignment there, I will go

Also, I'm trying to get a few people together for a Holy Jim/MD/Trabuco night ride on a full moon. Sound fun? Looking for a few strong male riders to lead and sweep. If you've done this before, would appreciate any comments/recommendations.
