evonne- i'm glad you had a good time up on the san juan. it's hard to beat the downhill. next time i suggest slowing down on the uphill to savor every second... my 2nd graders are great--wouldn't trade 'em. i just hope i don't have 25 next year. good luck with your wee ones. i'll be posting an (easier) o.c. ride this weekend.
howdy- rain shouldn't be a problem. this storm is petering out and the next is supposed to hit late sun/mon. also, the sjt handles water really well since it's mostly d.g. hope you can make it.
