  • Thanks, Jonathan. Good ride. PM me with your email address so I can send you some pictures.
Hey Jonathan! I am serious about getting your wife out riding! There is an event coming up that would be PERFECT for her-- the "Courageous Women of Dirt" at Irvine Lake in May (5/11). It's for absolute beginners to Intermediate Advanced riders.

I don't know if this link will work, but here is the facebook event link: http://www.facebook.com/#!/events/388301167935848/.

I can let you know when registration opens, but for now...GET HER A BIKE!! ;)

Hey Jonathan, good to hear from you! I haven't been on the dirt since veterans day :/ I really need to get out there again. How are things going on you're side of the fence? Hope all is well, let me know when you ride, I have to join you sometime. :)

:) There's still time before class starts for me...Sept. 23 is the dreaded date haha. Let me know when you're planning to do the classic!

Hey buddy, sorry for your troubles today, good to hear your up and runnning though. Hope you heal up as quickly as possible and we'll ride again soon.
    Take care!
P.s. Forgot to say before we headed out, I wish your son a happy birthday.

Nice seeing you at Whiting. Starting to expand my horizon of trails.

Done HTT Twice, both times getting to the peak, first time coming down HTT and the second time doing Joplin, Old Camp, Luge. Whiting was fun, also did El Moro a couple weeks ago.

P.S. Did you lose weight? Or have I just not seen you in a while? You looked really thin. (Nice Contour camera)

One word to discribe the usefulness and quality of the Joplin.

    Beautiful.

Picked up a brand new Joplin R for $125. So stoked to try it out this weekend.

Should ride again sometime. Now that I think back, San Juan was a blast! I think I've convinced my dad enough for him to start supporting me and mountain biking. Joining an XC Team (officially) in about a month. Starting to try more techy stuff. I can do Stairsteps, not confidently, but I can clear it. 5Oaks is fun. Next step is Telonics. :bang:

haha i climbed up stair-steps once, it was horrible... especially on the steep techy section near the top. rocks everywhere to contend with.

    shit, sorry for bailing. :(
I was real tried from a ride yesterday and couldn't wake up until 7:20... then I freaked out.

    Lol. Uhhh...

    I'm smoking nothing....

:P I saw the thread on the first page so I dunno.
Starting to ride again. ^-^ New XTR chain I just installed is like sex. Getting my license in two months, I'll be joining up with a mixed team racing in the Interscholastic Socal League.

I'll be able to drive to races and stuff, now. :)

Just been really busy with school and stuff... I don't have much time to get out and ride!
Yeah the m775 is just a little bit lighter, and the rear is the one you pedal....
Yeah you keep saying that, the van is better than the talas in 36. I am a much bigger fan of manitou though for their warranty support, Fox is bad and Rock Shock non-existent. I'm picking up a set of my own, but could just build a better rear if I only had a front....

Hey, 7:30 at the Parking Lot right? I'll be there a little early if you don't get this message before the ride just to be safe. :) I'll be in White Specialized Jersey.
