Have you been stuck in FL for any length of time...especially during the summer in this heat and humidity?

The heat and humidity isn't a problem. I lived there for 6 years.

It's more like there's no mountains and no good trails there. Their idea of a trail is a paved rail trail or smooth dirt path with a root and rock here and there, through the park. Or maybe a dirt path through an empty patch of land that is used as a local dumping ground.

I grew up in the Keys, and yeah, there are a ton of nutty people in FL but there are decent trails in S. FL on the mainland. Legal, bike specific trails with cool features, but not a whole lot of climbing obviously.

I'm moving back to the Keys next year and plan on doing trips to mainland to get my fix. Hopefully, I don't claw hammered or chloroformed by some crazy kooks trying to get their party on.

When I lived in Florida, kids would drive around as the sun was going down and flash their lights at people. If you flashed yours back, they'd circle around, drive up and shoot you in the head.

The weekend before I left, they found the staff of our local restaurant gutted and hanging in the meat locker.

A huge hurricane sucked all the fun out of peoples killing sprees after that, though.

I do not miss living in Florida.
