Had the day off and decided to finally get some pics of the hardtail. I'm falling in love with this thing!

(edit. Looks like I've already posted pics up in this thread. You guys don't mind looking again, do you?)

Built up as a SS for my small wife (only rides flat fireroads) or as a dirt jumper for me!

    riiz,

Yup, i ordered it through CRC since they had a $25 voucher off and free shipping to the U.S. It came out at $346. Ordered it on May 15, it arrived May 21. The headset I ordered from Cane Creek took longer.

Here is my contribution, been quite a few changes since I posted in the AM thread months ago. Its been a work in progress, basically been upgrading with leftover monies from saving up for a new home. So far, its recieved new wheels, tires, shorter stem, grips and saddle. I have a Kindshock supernatural post on order, hopefully its in by father's day, which is how I talked my wife into buying it for me, lol.

Awesome, I've thinking of building another AM-hardtail, saw a pre-Evo Closeout Summer Season 456 from On-one at $149. Just apprehensive about the shipping times from the UK, but if CRC can get it to you in 7 days, that is not bad at all.

I thought I should put her up before it's gone. I've been thinking that for five years now. 2001 model year.

    Just got it yesterday...

After doing a couple of Over The Hump races, I felt like I needed to turn it up a notch. I found this one on Craigslist for $700, and it was in almost brand new condition! Took advantage of the Performance Bike 20% sale yesterday, and used a new stem I had ordered for my other bike:

Yeah baby, new Kona King Kahuna from the Path. It's a rocket compared to my Stumpjumper FSR.

So far I've swapped in x9 shifters and a crankbrothers carbon iodine 11 handlebar
