The time killing thread

Here is a compilation of some more great landings:

Many of these are actual test landings used to qualify larger aircraft...

First few images were not fun. Glad he got out - was he able to fly? Poor little razor-clawed-savage-killer bird.
The guy that posted it said that for a few minutes, we was just walking around the yard, looking a little dazed, but after about ten minutes, he was gone. He probably flew away then.

or he was picked off by a red tail.....

We've suddenly got a lot of owls in our neighborhood. The other night I heard clacking in the sky that got louder and louder then there was multiple owl screeches, I looked up and there were 5 owls circling above me. I hear them almost every night now so we don't let our chihuahua out at night anymore...

This one is for Gray:
A guy found an Owl stuck between his house and shed, and let it go. It looks pissed off the whole time.

Rad, thanks for sharing. I actually had a very similar thing happen at the center just last week. A cooper's hawk got out of its mew and flew right behind one of those tall tupperware storage cabinets (almost identical to the one on the photos). It slid down behind it, and got stuck between the wall and the back of the cabinet in a space too small for it to be able to lift its wings and fly out. I ended up having to move the storage cabinet to get to him so I could grab him and toss him back in his mew. Good times! ;)

This clip is why the time killing thread exists.
